Arbutus unedo

Desirable large evergreen shrub or small tree, often hard to obtain. Custers of white bell-shaped flowers and orange-red fruits. One of the few plants to have fruit and flowers at the same time. Cinnamon brown bark. Best in neutral to acid soils. Rich and moist is ideal. Sunny spot out of cold drying winds. Slow growing to 7m or trim to shape
