Traditional formal hedge with dense green foliage which becomes bronze in autumn. Catkins in April/May. Trim : once, mid to late summer. Similar to Beech in that it holds onto young foliage in winter but is better suited for a damp soil where Beech wont cope. Trim to keep shaped.
