Small, rounded, evergreen shrub with glossy, oval, dark-green leaves. Very fragrant, purplish-pink and white flowers are borne early spring. Moist but well-drained soil in light shade is best. Plant out rather than growing in a container. Height 1.5m. **CAUTION toxic if eaten/skin irritant**
