A more compact and upright form of portuguese laurel. Wonderful for a dense evergreen hedge or as a small tree. Dark green glossy leaves set against red stems. Occasionally it will have white candelabra flowers followed by dark berries. Prune regularly to keep at desired height and shape. Well drained soil in sun or part shade. Height unpruned 5m.
