Stipa tenuissima

Small ornamental grass, billowing in the slightest breeze. Densely tufted evergreen with very narrow, bright-green leaves. Soft, feathery flower plumes carried above the leaves in early summer. Sun or part shade in rich and or damp soil. Height 60cm. Rake out old leaves each spring.
