Leathery evergreen with variegated, strap-shaped leaves which have serrated edges are borne in a crown on top of a woody stem. Prefers to stand outside in summer but must have min temp of 7c in winter. Water as compost dries out. Liquid feed in growth. Could be worth trying outside in a sheltered London garden.
