The magnificent smoke-like plumes of flower in summer give the Smoke Bush its common name. The beautiful dark red-purple leaves develop a pink margin late summer, then turn scarlet in autumn before falling. Tolerant of hard pruning. Sun or dappled shade. Height 5 x 5m.
