A rare evergreen seldom offered for sale. A hydrangea relative from Guizhou, China. Long flowering and a long time in berry. Blue or pink flowers (depending on soil pH), long lasting buds followed by persistent purple berries through the winter. Hardier than D. febrifuga, it is proving very useful for its long season of interest. Ideal for dappled shade. Height 1.2-1.6m.
